Auction sales on hold, but entries full and pending!

7 Apr 2020

Watch out for new dates for our monthly and farm dispersal auction sales!

In common with all auctioneers, our sale program is currently postponed, following the order of Government to close all public auction sales, until such time as the COVID – 19 outbreak has been managed and it is safe to reconvene sales. This has included both our monthly sales and the scheduled farm dispersal sale from the 4th of April. In the meantime however work on collating new entries is ongoing by remote working and we are looking at options for holding online-only sales, if necessary.

We have a store full of entries for both Catalogued and General Sales and our vendors are showing total understanding in working with us and us holding entries until such time we can reschedule sales. We have the capacity to do so and storage is free. In addition, we are working with a number of executors on house clearances, which are in the pipeline, in readiness for a return to normal working practice.

The auction department is working remotely from home and can be contacted on the usual office numbers and email addresses for online valuation and general auction advice. We shall, of course, update customers on our sale schedule by auction newsletter and posting on our Auction Homepage.
