SUMMER GRAZING 2016
With spring around the corner we have been agreeing summer grazing for numerous clients and already have agreed approximately 800 acres privately and are now able to provide details of a further 300 acres which are available.
This year we have over 300 acres of summer grazing available and in particular we draw your attention to the opportunities of 55 acres of good cattle grazing at Girsby, near Burgh On Bain and 70 acres of hay and sheep grazing at Market Stainton which have previously had long term graziers and it is hoped new long term relationships can be developed. These are available by private treaty along with further lots at Baumber, Hatton, Goulceby, Dunston Fen, and Minting. The full details are available to download. Last year over 1000 acres were let privately with an average of £61/acre, slightly up on 2014.
Robert Bell and Company's 2016 summer grazing auction will be the 121st to be held and is on the 31st March 2016 at 2:30pm at The Black Swan, Horncastle. There are 9 lots in the parishes of Old Bolingbroke, Bardney, Mareham on the Hill, Raithby/Hagworthingham, Stickney, Goulceby, and Horncastle. Full details are available to download on the website. Last year the auction averaged £64/acre and we hope for similar demand this year.
