Marathon End-Of-Year Auction
Our final sale of 2014 saw a staggering nearly 1400 lots go under the hammer - truly something for everyone. A mix of house clearances and private vendors, the sale also included various interesting motorcycle spares belonging to the late George Cross of Horncastle.
A handful of notable prices include: a late entry Kawasaki quad sold for £305; garden ornament of a mare and foal £190; two engines - a JAP and another - £630 and £400 respectively; jade knife rest £330; brass water boiler off a motor vehicle £78; narwhal tusk £220; Norwegian dinner ware £140 and £200; taxidermy red squirrel £55; photo album £85; Parker pen and pencil set £50; stamp album £105; repro. bi-plane propeller £55; oil of a country scene £90; French map £70; heraldic shield £105; Britannia range cooker £140; Victorian pedestal desk £185; oak refectory table £205 – to mention just a few.
