Buyers hunt down smallholdings & equestrian properties!
Over the last twelve months we have been very busy with the sale of smallholdings and equestrian orientated properties with land of between 2 - 20 acres. There has been good local demand and strong interest from buyers in Yorkshire, the East Midlands and the South. Demand for smaller house/country cottages with between 2 - 5 acres, as demonstrated by the recent sale of Walnut Tree Cottage in Eagle Moor near Lincoln with approx. 3.5 acres, has been particularly strong.
Are there many serious equestrian buyers in the market at present? Most certainly, yes. However, such buyers often have,very stringent requirements to be met, in terms of land size, the quality of equestrian facilities needed, and of course they often have very particular locational needs. We have also recently agreed a sale on Fen Farm Fiskerton. The property's very secluded location and well laid out paddock land with grounds extending to approx. 15.5 acres were key to generating strong interest from buyers in the property
